My name is Paul Răzvan Petrisor, but you might know me as Paul Damian. The name coming from my mother’s side of the family.

I am a Romanian Poet and Actor, born in Turda, Romania, and now residing in the city of Cluj-Napoca. This is my first ever publication. My first collection of Poetry and Raw emotion, as I like to call it.

As noted in the preface of the book, I grew up in a small industrial Romanian town in the 1990s, in a world suffering from the recent collapse of the Soviet Union. That environment played a significant role in shaping the man I grew into — but even more crucial in this journey of becoming was my relationship with the world within.

I don’t categorize myself as a specific type of poet, and I don’t feel I have a distinct poetic style. Perhaps I will develop one in time. And although stylized and sometimes polished in poetic form,  much of what I write remains raw and true to my state of being in the moment the writing occurred.

The pages of my book hold the vexations of a wandering soul. They’re an exploration into an unknown, untamed inner world, filled with love, loss, healing, and hope. If you find anything here that speaks to you, anything that might help you along your own path, then all my effort was not in vain.
